‘RHONJ’ Star Joe Gorga Reveals He and Wife Melissa Had Sex Everyday for 10 Years
Damn! Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Gorga revealed some steamy details about his sex life with his wife, Melissa. It turns out, frequency has been this couple’s key to keeping their relationship kicking.
“Before we started the show, we’d come home and make dinner. Melissa was this cute little wife,” Joe recalled in his new memoir, The Gorga Guide To Success. “We were so hot for each other, we used to have sex every day.”
How long did their sex streak last? Not one week or one year, but an entire decade. He divulged, “Not kidding, for the first 10 years we were together, we had sex every day … Even after the kids came.”
Joe explained that it’s all about taking a few moments to keep things fresh and intimate. The contractor acknowledged, “We take the time to still have crazy, passionate sex together … Just this Christmas, I surprised her with a new wedding ring because, no matter what, she’s still my bride.”
Back in 2013, Melissa wrote her own book called Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage where her advice to women was to treat their husband’s “like a king, so he’ll treat you like a queen.” However, since then, her views have really changed.
“I’ve been on the show for eight years,” she told ET in November. “I was [always] like, ‘We’re good, we got this. I don’t know what everybody else’s problem is, all these Housewives are getting divorces’ … and then I’m like, ‘Oh, I get this. OK, we’re hitting a moment.'” It goes to show that all marriages hit bumpy points.
She noted about her previous memoir, “I’ll probably go back and read the book and go, ‘Yeah, no.’ And that’s a true fact. It’s one of the things that, I’m being very honest, I struggle a lot with Joe over that.” The reality star explained that things are very different for her since the show and becoming an entrepreneur. “I was so stuck in and being a traditional Italian girl, being stuck in like, ‘No, that’s what I want to do. I want to be a mom who cooks and cleans, and my husband will provide for me and that’s what every lucky girl gets in life,’ and that’s what I got,” she admitted.
