Spice up your life! The Spice Girls are reuniting for a six-concert UK tour starting in June 2019. However, the bad news is that Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice will not be joining in on the fun. Geri Halliwell, Melanie C, Emma Bunton, and Mel B shared an Instagram story on Nov. 5 where they pretended like they were news anchors, sharing the breaking news of their tour.

Is Victoria upset that she can’t come along on the ride? Nope, she is super happy for her bandmates! She wrote on Instagram, “Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012! I won’t be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year. I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb #spicegirls.” Friendship never ends, right?

The press release said that Victoria will not take part, due to “business commitments.” However, she “will always be one of the Spice Girls and remains aligned with Emma, Mel B, Melanie C and Geri in preserving their unique legacy.”

The 44-year-old has her hands full. Whether she is creating a new fashion line, taking care of her kids, or hanging out with her handsome husband, David Beckham, there have been several hints that she would not be reuniting with her girls.

The British pop stars have been teasing a tour for a long time, driving fans crazy as to when the reunion would actually happen. In September, Mel B made an appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden and confirmed the Spice Girls were going on tour. She said, “We’re going to be going on tour. Us four for sure. We’ll see about [Posh], but us four are definitely going to be on tour. She might join us for a few [shows]. She better.”
