AwwPriyanka Chopra Adds ‘Jonas’ To Her Instagram And We’re Swooning
Guys, it’s officially official. After months of wowing on a few red carpets, an epic almost-week-long celebration in India, and one of the longest dress trains in history — Priyanka Chopra is a Jonas. If we married Nick Jonas, we’d be excited, too. The actress took to Instagram to show off her new last name.
Her updated profile now says “Priyanka Chopra Jonas.” It does have a nice ring to it, right? The name change comes right on the heels of the couple’s epic wedding celebration in Priyanka’s home country of India. The couple had a stacked itinerary for the three-day event at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, with tons of family and friends in attendance.
One thing Nick and Priyanka have frequently talked about is how important family is to both of them. The newlyweds took to Instagram to share their thoughts on the merging of family, culture, and religion. “One of the most special things our relationship has given us is the merging of families that love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures,” they revealed in a joint statement on Instagram. “And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing.” Looked amazing to us outsiders, too.
What’s next for this loving couple? Kids may be on the horizon soon (fingers crossed!). A source told Hollywood Life, “Priyanka usually has a jam-packed work schedule, but she’s slowing down after the wedding a lot. She wants to enjoy newlywed life with Nick.” How cute would a Cho-Jo baby be?
The fact that many of her friends, including Meghan Markle, are on the baby train is making Priyanka think about her future plans with her new hubby. She told E! News in October, “I just have a few of my friends who are having babies right now and I’m like, ‘God I need to catch up!'” You have plenty of time, Pri and Nick, but it will be so exciting if and when it happens.
