The Vice nominee looked incredible in this slinky black number with a peplum waist.

Shangela
This RuPaul’s Drag Race alum looked a little too boxy in this gown — we’re not into the cut on this immaculate queen.

Fiona Xie
This Crazy Rich Asians star absolutely killed this dreamy floral gown.

Rumer Willis
Bruce Willis‘ daughter died hard with this outfit — it’s not a good look, girl.
5 of 21
Lady Gaga
This Best Actress nominee for A Star Is Born looked absolutely celestial in this all-white number.

Lupita N’yongo
This esteemed actress usually serves us excellent red carpet looks, but this one fell short for us this time.

Laura Harrier
The BlackKklansman actress looked elegant in this pink gown with bell sleeves.

Anthony Ramos
This Broadway crooner missed the note with this patterned suit.

Mandy Moore
This This Is Us actress served us elegance in this simple look.

Michael B. Jordan
He’s hot but he’s not always smart. Come on, MBJ. You can do better on this one. We love the Virgil Abloh menswear at Louis Vuitton, too, but this combo came off sloppy.

Chrishell Stause
This soap star was looking seriously fierce in her sharply cut navy dress.

Chrissy Metz
This This Is Us star usually looks really great on the red carpet, so we’re kind of disappointed with this one. We really don’t like this cut or color palette for one of our favorite babes. She deserved more glam.

Sandra Oh
This 2019 Golden Globes host looked absolutely stunning in this deep burgundy velvet number.
14 of 21
Emily Blunt
This Best Actress nominee wasn’t trying to be quiet with this look — she was nominated for her film A Quiet Place but we won’t be nominating this ill-cut gown for anything anytime soon.
15 of 21
Elisabeth Moss
The Handmaid’s Talestar looked radiant in this simple creme colored gown.
16 of 21
Alison Brie
This GLOW actress is sometimes a hit or miss on the red carpet — this look was decidedly more of a miss. While the gown and choker hit really well for her, the wings/bow situation doesn’t do much for her here.
17 of 21
Gemma Chan
This Crazy Rich Asians nominee looked riveting in this textured pink gown.
18 of 21
Emma Stone
This Best Actress Nominee for The Favorite has been known to sport slacks on the red carpet — this particular pair doesn’t work, though. When one harkens back to some of her past pants suits, this one pales in comparison.
19 of 21
Melissa McCarthy
This comedian looked as sparkly as her smile in this sliver glitter gown.
20 of 21
Rachel Weisz
The other Best Actress nominee for The Favorite didn’t dress to impress, either — this mismatched gown fell short and lacked direction.
21 of 21
Rachel Brosnahan
This Best Actress in a Comedy Series nominee looked reserved and delicately beautiful in a lacy grey number.
