If you have a pulse, you were probably waiting with bated breath yesterday before Ariana Grande dropped her highly anticipated video for her newest single ‘thank u, next.’ The video truly did not disappoint and fans everywhere have been reacting to the way Ariana took the four movies she used as an influence and made the stories her own. Even Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner, two stars of the original films Legally Blonde and 13 Going On 30 respectively, have expressed their delight on social media at Ariana’s versions of the roles that helped make them household names –– and Reese even made a comment about Ari’s bend and snap.

In one tweet, Reese responded to a fan with some pretty intense views on Ari’s attempt at the legendary bend and snap dance. “Ariana Grande and Jennifer Coolidge doing the bend and snap has given me the energy to live for at least another year,” the fan tweeted, to which Reese responded, “A lifetime,” complete with a cute-cry face emoji.

Reese also shared a side by side of her and Ari’s turns as the legendary Elle Woods, with a sweet and simple caption: “Thank u, next @ArianaGrande #ElleWoodsForever.”

Jennifer decided to share her excitement and gratitude on Instagram. “Every now and then something comes along that just brightens your day. @arianagrande, you’re so adorable. Thank you, pretty girl. #thankunext,” she captioned a clip of Ari having her turn at playing Jennifer’s original role. Ari caught wind of the post and left a response of gratitude for Jennifer. “nooooooOoOOoOo[sic] I’m crying. I watched this movie every night before bed growing up (and I still do sometimes, especially when I’m sad),” Ari revealed on Jen’s Insta. “I adore you! Thank you for all the inspiration and joy you’ve brought to my life I’m screaming bye.” Plus, she left a second comment to hammer home her excitement. “And by sometimes I literally mean [every night] still.”

Ari’s gotta be so proud –– to have the women who created these roles praise you so highly must make it feel like the hard work paid off. Speaking of hard work, or really not much work at all, the new video is set to break Vevo’s 24-hour view count record with over 50 million views, according to Entertainment Tonight. Go Ari! We can’t think of a more well-deserved opus. Yes, you heard us right. ‘thank u, next’ is truly so good, we might even be compelled to call it a masterpiece.

After all, if Ari starts wearing army pants and flip flops, we’ll start wearing army pants and flip flops…
