Bachelor Nation Star Ashley Iaconetti Can See Mike Johnson and Demi Lovato Dating ‘Long Term’
She knows a thing or two about love! Bachelor Nation alum Ashley Iaconetti exclusively dished to Life & Style that she could see former Bachelorette contestant Mike Johnson and Demi Lovato making it for the long haul. The two have been stirring up romance rumors since they started flirting on social media and fans are very much here for it.
The brunette beauty was asked if she saw the potential of Mike, 31, and Demi, 27, dating “long term” while hosting an intimate evening with dating app Plenty of Fish to celebrate the premiere of her new video with Jared Haibon, Dine & Dish. “I actually do. I feel like they’re very complimentary, just based on what I know of both of them,” Ashley, 31, confidently responded. Although her husband, 30, admitted that they are only acquaintances with the Air Force vet — and do not know the pop star — Jared added that they “wish them the best.”
When asked about his budding romance with the “Confident” singer, the former Bachelor in Paradise contestant couldn’t help but gush about her. “She’s sexy, right? We’re just two people trying to get to know each other. That’s all,” he exclusively told Life & Style at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 22.
The reality stud first caught the eye of the “Daddy Issues” songstress when he was competing for Hannah Brown‘s heart. Then, in September, fans caught some cute social media PDA happening between the two. However, Mike made it clear that the two are simply trying to figure out if there’s a spark between them. “You can say it’s the beginning stages. Yes,” he confirmed. “I’ll go on record saying that.”
As for Demi, the former Disney kid seems to be in a great place since her near-fatal overdose in July 2018. She’s been working hard at self-acceptance and loving the skin she’s in. The A-lister even shared an unedited bikini photo with the message that she’s “tired of being ashamed of my body.” The “Heart Attack” singer continued the empowering caption by writing, “I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else’s standards. So here’s me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day.”
Time will tell what unfolds between Mike and Demi.
