Fave Clothing
The New Jersey native also loves this one item — jeans. “A good pair of jeans that fit really well because for me, I always like to have a pair of really great jeans in my closet,” she told Buzznet in 2010. “Then, you can just dress them up or dress them down, you know, be more casual.”

Still in Good Condition
What’s the oldest thing in Ash’s closet? Her Abercrombie & Fitch jeans! “I was like, ‘Let me cut the sides, and let me flare them out a little bit,’” she told Glamour in January.

Shady Lady
As far as accessories, Ashley loves sunglasses — especially white ones. The producer has an island in her closet, so she can put accessories in the middle and be able to find anything she needs in no time!

Spreading the Love
“I think my style does change daily. I feel kind of minimalistic,” she told Glamour. “My biggest rule in the closet is that if I am buying something new, I am getting rid of something else. All of my friends love it because they come in and they are like, ‘Oh, I want to get this.’ I love sharing with my friends.”

No Twinning Here
Ashley’s husband, Christopher French, waits for Ashley to get dressed because he doesn’t want to match with her when they go out together. LOL!

Boss Lady Vibes
“I am trying to be more feminine recently. More dresses and skirts,” she said. “I love a good blouse, and I also like to buy items that I know I am going to like for a while versus being like that is cute now, then whatever later.”

The Suit Life
When Ashley goes out, she loves a good blouse with a leather skirt or a nice pantsuit. “You feel really powerful in this suit, and it’s so comfortable,” she confessed.

Budding Fashionista
The “Voices In My Head” singer debuted her first T-shirt collection with Los Angeles based graphic T-shirt company Signorelli in 2015, so Ashley has always been interested in fashion. “A lot of the line is travel themed along with the girl boss theme,” she told Celebuzz. “Honestly, all of them are pretty much my favorites.”

Can’t Win Them All
Even though Ash had access to stylists, she still regretted a couple of her previous fashion choices. “I grew up in front of everybody and experimented with clothes on the red carpet,” Ashley told People in 2017. “All of the stuff you do as a younger person, you’re doing in front of everyone, so there are probably tons of moments I look back on and cringe.”

Yolo
Ashley frequently was spotted wearing boas and UGGs on red carpets. “Oh, my God. I know. I can say that, for me, some of those images are so funny,” she admitted to Paper magazine. “Looking back sometimes, I’m just like, ‘What was I thinking?’ But at the same time, I realize that I was so confident. I could give [a] s—t who thought bad things about me.”

Confidence Is Key
She continued, “I could literally care less. I think that is such a beautiful thing in those images. What people don’t realize is I honestly did not care. As you obviously grow up in this business, and then you become more in the spotlight, people are obviously criticizing you, and you’re changing things.”

Her True Self
Despite the awkward teen years and outfits, Ashley has no regrets. “I just look back, and I’m like, ‘You know what? That is awesome.’ I could not care, and I just did my thing. And that’s just amazing!”

Living Her Best Life

Sharpay Is Always With Her
Some people even dressed up as the Scary Movie 5 star for Halloween. “I think it is iconic, for sure!” she said. “I was beside myself. I was dying laughing. It was so amazing.” The blonde beauty admitted that she even brought some of Sharpay’s wardrobe from High School Musical movie home with her. “Did I think I was going to wear them on the red carpet? Probably, at the time,” she told Buzzfeed.

Best Gift
“A lot of our clothes are in, like, hall of fames, and they didn’t have Sharpay’s stuff. Disney tried so hard to get the clothes from me, and I was like, ‘No, this is mine,’” she admitted. “So, yeah, they don’t have any of the clothes from the first movie. I do.”

Always Having Fun
These days, Ashley tries not to take life too seriously. “When you see that stuff [her old outfits], you just have to laugh and have fun with it because that’s so f—king awesome,” she admitted. “I remember one of the first shots that someone had sent me from the red carpet back then of me. I was just like, ‘Oh, my God. I have go to show [her husband] Chris this. I was so embarrassed. He actually really helped me realize that what I was doing then was awesome.”

Killing It
She added, “I was like, ‘You know what? You’re right!’ I was so awesome! It’s really about loving yourself and loving the decisions you made whether they’re crazy. When you have that self-love, you’re not so critical on yourself.”

She’s Got the Music in Her
Recently, the actress released her third album called Symptoms. “You know, it’s so different from any of the other experiences I’ve had in music. In the past, for me, when it came — even in TV and movies — I’ve always been like, ‘Oh my gosh! I wonder how this is going to do?’” she told Paper magazine. “And I honestly have no fear, I don’t even really honestly care. I’m so proud of it and proud of what I’ve done. It’s the most authentic thing I have ever done in my career. It’s very personal to me.”
