Just because Sofia Richie is young, rich and beautiful doesn’t mean that she doesn’t experience struggle. In fact, based on her latest Instagram post, the 20-year-old model faces the same hardships as the rest of us … or at least those of us who have an acrylic manicure, anyway. That’s right, y’all, Scott Disick’s ladylove shared a photo on Monday, August 20, featuring — wait for it — a broken nail!
Are you in shock? Don’t worry, you aren’t the only one. Plenty of Sofia’s followers felt the same way. So much so, that they decided to leave comments about it. Ya know, because that’s what social media is for. “I’m glad to see celebrities deal with the struggle of the ‘random broken nail syndrome,’” one user wrote. “LOL the nail, but cute,” added another.
Phew! It’s a relief to know that even with a broken nail, people still think Sofia is cute. “Whoop, a nail broke, but you ain’t,” a third person chimed in, while a fourth echoed, “Where the pinky nail, though?” While we can’t be certain, we do have a theory about Sofia’s missing nail. Ready for it? OK … well, ICYMI, she’s been traveling in the Mediterranean for over a week now. Prior to leaving, Sofia got a new acrylic set — nude with neon yellow accents, to be exact.
We suspect that during her travels, one of her nails fell off and she’s been unable to get it fixed. After all, these ~influencers~ have specific manicurists. They aren’t just going to pop into some random shop on the Amalfi Coast. The good news is, with Sofia’s 21st birthday coming up on Saturday, August 24, we have no doubt that she’ll be stepping out with a fresh manicure.
