As a plus-size woman, Hunter’s first appearance in Sports Illustrated in 2016 was revolutionary. Thankfully, the blonde beauty is now joined by others like Veronica Pome’e. The body representation is so important, y’all!

When it comes to flaunting her curves, Hunter is hardly shy … and for good reason! “I just do what I feel is sexy — it’s never about hiding anything,” she told InStyle in an interview published on Thursday, May 9.

“It’s never about ‘Oh, let me tuck this in, let me do this, let me do that,’” she continued. “I really want to showcase my body as it is. It’s so important that it’s prevalent in the images that are picked.”

Despite being careful to showcase her figure as is, Hunter made it clear that these snapshots are professional and thus, a lot goes into perfecting the end result such as, “Hair, makeup, lighting, photographers,” Hunter explained.

As for Hunter’s personal swimsuit preferences? Well, she likes a little bit of everything (with one exception, that is).

“I think less is more. I love a teeny-tiny bikini,” Hunter dished. 

“I also think an old-school, Pamela-Anderson-in-Baywatch, high-leg, one-piece is so sexy,” she added. 

“I’m not, like, a tankini girl. I have nothing against them — there are some really amazing tankinis and high-waisted swimsuits — but I just prefer a teeny-tiny bikini,” Hunter expressed. Considering how bomb Hunter looks a bikini, we’re happy to know that’s her go-to! We look forward to seeing her slay all summer long — and beyond.
