Budding Beauty Blogger John Mayer Swatches Chanel Lipstick on His Guitar Like a Pro
There's a new beauty blogger in town — and it's none other than John Mayer. The "Your Body Is a Wonderland" singer is making a new name for himself in the makeup industry following his impressive smokey eye tutorial on social media. Now, John is receiving swag from the biggest name in cosmetics (Chanel) and swatching the brand's lipsticks on his guitar.

Fans were loving this new side of the 40-year-old, who has been linked to A-list beauties such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, and Jessica Simpson. "John Mayer is a makeup legend… Kylie Jenner is shaking," one follower tweeted before another added, "I'm crying at [John Mayer's] story. He's doing lip color swatches on his guitar! Last week, John's smokey eye tutorial went viral, prompting Chanel to send him more products. "I’ve been getting a lot of comments lately asking when am I gonna do a smoky-eye tutorial," he said in the original video before explaining his process, "You want to accentuate the roundness of your eyeballs." In March, John also opened up about his new career path, sharing some of his best skincare secrets. "I am a beauty blogger now," he captioned a photo of NaturaBissé products.
