Always there for each other! Kourtney Kardashian is “helping” ex Scott Disick “get back on the straight and narrow” following his stint in rehab for emotional issues, an insider exclusively tells Life & Style. “She’s seen him go through troublesome times in the past and is one of the few people who gets him.”

Considering their long history and the fact that they share three kids, Kourtney, 41, has “vowed to stand by him on his road to recovery, as long as he continues working on himself,” the insider added.

The coparents, who split in 2017 after dating on-and-off since 2006, are currently on vacation in Utah with their little ones — Mason, 10, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 5. Their trip to the luxe Canyon Point was in conjunction with the Talentless founder’s 37th birthday

The five-star Amangiri resort and hotel is “focused on personalization, privacy and seclusion,” their official website reads. “Local spa rituals paired with indigenous ingredients, offer a profoundly therapeutic touch, and a gentle sense of joy and discovery. Aman believes that reconnecting with your environment and the purity of nature offers a means to rediscover the universe inside the self.”

They’ve been exploring the desert and bonding as a family less than a month after Scott checked himself out of a Colorado rehab facility. In the following weeks, he and girlfriend Sofia Richie decided to “take some time apart” after nearly three years together

It was the 21-year-old model’s “decision” to take a break from their romance, a separate insider divulged Life & Style. “His demons were getting the better of him and issues he’d brushed under the rug caught up with him during self-isolation.”

The Flip It Like Disick star is “still trying to come to terms with his parents’ death, the source continued. His mom, Bonnie Disick, died in 2013, and his father, Jeffrey Disick, passed away three months later.

“It was a one-two punch, one right after the other. He put on a tough-guy facade, he set his feelings aside and never fully coped with the emotions surrounding this major loss,” a third source explained. “That’s why he’s still struggling with it.”

Amid the turmoil in his personal life, Scott is “leaning” on Kourtney “for support,” expressed the insider. “He is focusing on himself and the kids,” while Sofia “is spending time with friends.”
