Hmm … Sofia Richie shared several sexy photos on Scott Disick‘s birthday but no tribute to him amid their break.
The model, 21, took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 26, to post pics in a gorgeous orange dress with her hair in an updo and captioned the shots with a simple “home” emoji.
Meanwhile, the Kardashians shared the sweetest messages to the Talentless designer in honor of his 37th trip around the sun. “Happy birthday, Scott!!! You are such an amazing father, son, brother, partner and friend!!” Kris Jenner gushed. “Thank you for bringing so much love and laughter to our family! Thank you for your sense of adventure and always being there for all of us. You are amazing and I love you! Mama K XOXO.”
Khloé Kardashian also posted for the father of three — who shares Mason, Penelope and Reign with Kourtney Kardashian — calling him “a great brother.”
A source told Life & Style exclusively it was Sofia’s “decision” to take some “time apart” from her with Scott. Following his brief stint in rehab, the insider noted, “His demons were getting the better of him and issues he’d brushed under the rug caught up with him during self-isolation” amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In early May, Scott checked himself into a Colorado rehab facility to improve his mental health. “He’s still trying to come to terms with his parents’ deaths,” a second source revealed, referring to the Flip It Like Disick star’s mother, Bonnie Disick, who died in 2013, and his father, Jeffrey Disick, who passed three months later.
Sofia “tried to be there for Scott and still loves him, but at the end of the day, he can only help himself,” a third insider said. “She’s hoping that taking a break will be the wake-up call he needs.”
Now, Scott is “leaning” on ex Kourtney “for support,” a fourth insider divulged. The former couple reunited for a family trip with their kids at the Amangiri resort in Utah. Kourtney is “helping Scott get back on the straight and narrow,” another insider told Life & Style. “At the end of the day, he’s the father of her kids, and she’s vowed to stand by him on his road to recovery, as long as he continues working on himself.”
Time will tell what the future holds for Scott and Sofia.
