Um, what’s going on here? Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes took to social media to ask fans and followers their thoughts on a potential relationship situation — one that may or may not involve her husband, Gregg Leakes, and his faithfulness to their relationship.

“[You] find out [your] husband/boyfriend been talkin’ on the phone regularly to 1 of ur female employees as ‘just a friend’ but [you] had no knowledge of it, did he cross any lines?” the 51-year-old wrote on Twitter on June 26. “Askin’ [for] a friend since y’all know EVERYTHING (but he said, we never talked sex! I just needed some[one] to talk [to]).”

Needless to say, she came for fan responses … and she got ’em. Followers flocked to the comments section on the status to give their thoughts on the ~suss~ situation which may or may not be NeNe’s to begin with.

“Cross the line is an understatement. He gonna cross my foot in his ass next,” one fan hilariously wrote, while another chimed in with, “If my husband talks to a woman/friend every day on the phone, we would have a problem!”

“Ummm no ma’am I’m not buying it,” another follower got real in the comments. “And why he had to converse with HER when he got a wife that’s supposed to be his confidant?? Chile 🚮🚮”

Other fans took to the comments section to play Devil’s advocate a bit — and remind NeNe and her fans that men and women can be friends. “Guys have female friends who are just friends. I’m that platonic friend for many. LOL,” they wrote, while another follower replied to their comment with, “I have a platonic male friend (since childhood). He is also my husband’s friend now. It’s required.”

While it’s entirely possible the husband in question and the female employee are just pals, it’s probably less likely than one would hope. Though most fans were supportive, others took the opportunity to shade NeNe about the possible spot of upcoming drama.

“Sounds like a storyline to get you back to being relevant on RHOA and it sounds like another thing they’re putting it there to justify you leaving Gregg,” the follower wrote. “You’ve been doing that for quite awhile now.”

Yikes! While the fan isn’t wrong — NeNe and her hubby, 63, have been on and off for ages — it still doesn’t mean she’s looking for an excuse. Or is she? Seems like next season of RHOA might have some dirt in store for us.
