Scott Disick Enjoys a Family ‘Game Night’ With Kourtney Kardashian Following Sofia Richie Split
Game on! Scott Disick seemingly enjoyed a family “game night” with ex Kourtney Kardashian and their kids on Sunday, August 30, following his split from Sofia Richie.
The Talentless designer, 37, shared a photo on his Instagram Story that showed a table scattered with the games Connect 4, Jenga and Taboo. In the background, there was a beautiful sunset. Scott also posted pictures of Reign, 5, climbing a tree and Penelope, 8, snuggling their dog.
Kourtney, 41, also shared a snapshot playing the game Othello in the backyard on the same day. “A very rare tie match,” she captioned the board without revealing who she was competing with. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also captured the gorgeous sunset in two short videos.
The coparents, who dated on-and-off for nearly a decade before calling it quits for good in 2017, have been spending a lot of time together as of late. Life & Style obtained photos of the reality exes leaving dinner together at Nobu in Malibu on August 28. Luckily, they dodged a possible awkward run-in with Sofia, 22, who arrived with a group of friends moments after they left.
Life & Style confirmed on May 27 that Scott and Sofia split after nearly three years together mere weeks after his short stay at a Colorado rehabilitation facility in late April. He checked himself into the facility due to unresolved emotional issues surrounding the deaths of his parents, Jeffrey and Bonnie Disick, who died three months apart in 2013.
“They were very happy together but Sofia could not handle his issues,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style at the time. “They were never cut out for the long term because he has too much baggage and has trouble opening up to anyone besides Kourtney. When he gets low, Kourtney is the only person he can turn to. It’s been a very strange back and forth between Sofia and Kourtney.”
The New York native and model briefly rekindled things in early July and were seen out to dinner and attending a party together, but an insider told Us Weekly on August 19 the pair had called it quits again.
As for the dynamic with his famous ex, Scott has been “leaning on” Kourtney “more and more” since returning from his brief stint in rehab, an insider exclusively told Life & Style. “Their dynamic is that she likes to care for him and he depends on her for support.”
No matter what, Scott and Kourt are always in it for the long haul together!
