Surprised? The Jonas Brothers have a very unexpected fan — Sophie Turner‘s dad. The actress revealed that her father, Andrew Turner, has really taken to the new music from her husband, Joe Jonas, and his family band. We don’t blame you, Mr. Turner.

“My dad always had the best music. He has the best music taste. I hated it when I was younger and now I can’t stop listening to it,” the 23-year-old raved about her dad during the “HFPA in Conversation” podcast, which was released on June 19. “He loves Jethro Tull, R.E.M., Genesis — those are kind of my favorites. It’s very kind of ’70s, you know, he loves Fleetwood Mac. I took him to see Fleetwood Mac recently at Madison Square Garden, which was awesome.”

Even though Andrew seems to be into classic rock music, the reunited boy band’s new album, Happiness Begins, obviously won him over. The Dark Phoenix star continued, “He’s getting into the Jonas Brothers, I don’t think they are kind of his demographic but he’s getting into them now and he loves them. Their new music is fantastic.”

Sophie made her father proud when she chose her spouse. “My dad was beyond pleased when I married a musician, ’cause it was always kind of a, ‘You have to marry a rugby player or a musician,'” the Game of Thrones actress joked. “So I got one of them right.” The fact that she is head-over-heels for her man helps, too.

The feeling is totally mutual because Joe, 29, recently dedicated the romantic lyrics of the song “Hesitate” to Sophie. “Time, time only heals if we work through it now/ And I promise we’ll figure this out,” part of the verse reads. “I will take your pain/ And put it on my heart/ I won’t hesitate/ Just tell me where to start/ I thank the oceans for giving me you/ You saved me once and now I’ll save you too/ I won’t hesitate for you.” Aw, so sweet.

We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for Sophie and Joe!
