She presented the category Best Original Score and Best Original Song with Idris Elba. It was not advertised that the singer was going to show up, but all of a sudden she popped up on stage. The “Blank Space” singer, 29, wowed in an off-the-shoulder black dress while presenting. To accentuate her gorgeous gown, Taylor wore her hair in a curly, low bun and rocked her signature bright red lip.

Although her appearance was brief, fans were so excited to see her. Taylor has been scarce around award shows and red carpets since being on her Reputation tour for the past year. It looks like Tay is back and ready to be in the spotlight.

The main stage isn’t the only place Taylor appeared during the Golden Globes. The Handmaid’s Tale star Elisabeth Moss was walking the red carpet when E! News surprised her with a very special shoutout from the singer. Taylor recorded a quick video of herself to congratulate the actress on her nomination for Best Performance by an Actress In A Television Series.

Taylor is no stranger to the famous awards show — she’s actually been nominated for two Golden Globes before. “Sweeter Than Fiction” was up for an award in 2014 for Best Original Song and “Safe & Sound” was nominated the year before in the same category.

2018 has been a big year for the songstress. She was crowned the most influential person on Twitter this past year “based on the level of genuine engagement” she created, according to Brandwatch. The most unbelievable part is Taylor only tweeted a total of 13 times during 2018 and was able to beat out other heavy hitters on social media like Liam Payne, Katy Perry, and Kim Kardashian.
