Chanel West Coast Just Started a ~Wild~ and Edgy New Hair Trend: ‘You’re Going to See Every Girl Doing It’
If you’re looking for some hairspo, Chanel West Coast’s new ‘do may be for you. The 30-year-old just took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 20, to show off her new locks, which consists of safety pins intertwined in her hair.
“Honestly, I’ve been trying to avoid filters, but they just complete me. They complete me!” she said in the first clip in which she debuted her ‘do. “Love the new little braid with the safety pin. Super cute. Just pay attention. You’re going to see every girl doing it now that you know Chanel West Coast did it.”
This isn’t the first time the Ridiculousness star experimented with her hair. In fact, it’s something she often does. The reality star has rocked anything from platinum blonde to blue locks, and TBH, she’s been able to pull off every single color.
Besides being an MTV star, Chanel is also a musician. In a separate Story posted on the same day she debuted her new look, she revealed that she’s currently working on some new stuff. “Editing my next music video.” #ComingSoon,” she captioned a boomerang of a teaser clip. In a different Insta Story, Chanel was seen hanging out with Rick Ross backstage of the Ridiculousness set, and he had some kind words to say about her.
“Yo shout-out to Rick Ross. I performed with him one time and he said I shut it down like a boss,” she said as the rapper embraced her. “You did!” he said. “You shut it down like a boss. She went out there and killed it. And now, I’m ready to hear some of that new music.”
“Yes, I need to get you on a song!” she told him. “I’m ready. I’m waiting on you,” he told her as she confessed that she loves him. We honestly can’t wait for this collab.
