When you’re a mama, that first drop off is a tough one. For model Emily Ratajkowsi, dropping off her furry BFF, a.k.a. her new puppy Colombo, at the vet was a bit of an emotional experience for her. The brunette beauty was spotted shedding a few tears over the experience on June 12 and we seriously don’t blame her — the separation anxiety is real, y’all. We totally understand why this fur mama is so upset over leaving her baby — she’s hardly been without him since she debuted him as a new member of her family on Instagram on May 11.

Earlier that day, her and her little man were spotted out for a walk with an iced coffee in tow … much like we’ve seen them almost every day lately. Definitely not a bad thing! It’s good to have a best buddy.

In fact, the model is so aware of how obsessed she is with her dog, she even took to social media to ask friends and followers if she was going a little overboard with the puppy pics.
