So Much Drama: Here’s What Happens During Peter Weber’s ‘Bachelor’ Finale
There has been a lot of mystery surrounding Peter Weber’s finale of The Bachelor. Is the pilot engaged to one of his final two contestants, Hannah Ann Sluss or Madison Prewett? Is he single? There is no denying that both of the ladies remaining on the 28-year-old’s season are great catches. Peter’s heart has been torn, but he gets served an even bigger twist.
Madi, 23, eliminates herself before the finale rose ceremony, Reality Steve reports. She had been struggling with her relationship with Peter after he confessed to being “intimate” with someone else in the fantasy suite. Although she accepted his rose in lieu of Victoria Fuller the week prior, it seems as though it all became too much.
Fans have been rooting for Madison, but Peter’s parents are actually team Hannah Ann. The leading man’s mom, Barbara, is reportedly talking about Hannah Ann when she’s crying, “Don’t let her go … bring her home to us,” in the teasers, according to the gossip outlet. His parents apparently think he’s more compatible with the model, but his heart is pulling him toward his other finalist.
Madi prematurely leaving definitely causes a lot of drama, but the bombshell Chris Harrison drops on the Bachelor Nation stud — which fans have seen in trailers — is even bigger. Surprisingly, Hannah Ann, 23, is also thinking about leaving. However, she ends up staying in Australia with Peter, and they get engaged during the final rose ceremony.
Happily ever after, right? Not quite. After the finale, Peter reportedly ends things with Hannah Ann to pursue his relationship with Madison. The Knoxville native is the mystery woman from the trailers who Peter is crying and apologizing to.
He and Madi aren’t on solid ground yet. The two are apparently dating but not engaged. ABC exec Rob Mills teased that “even Peter doesn’t know” how his season will end, which points to the idea that he may propose to the Alabama beauty on After the Final Rose.
