Meghan Markle Feels Frustrated And Stressed Having ‘No Voice’ Amid Royal Drama Rumors
Drama, drama, drama! The past few months for the royal family have been full of feud rumors, employee resignations, and family tension. It’s like Buckingham Palace meets the Real Housewives. Apparently, it’s been extremely frustrating for Meghan Markle who feels silenced by her new royal title, according to a source from Us Weekly.
“It’s just been frustrating and stressful to have no voice,” the source dished. “She’s always relied on her own voice to stand up for others, and for herself. So not being able to say anything is a debilitating feeling. She’s always been so independent, her entire life, and that’s all been taken away from her. She’s always been able to clap back on social media and now she can’t.”
Before she got married, Meghan considered herself an advocate for women and was very outspoken on her blog, The Tig. Not being able to speak freely to the press is probably a tough change of pace for the ex-Hollywood actress.
Apparently, Meghan feeling cornered has been equally hard on Prince Harry, who reportedly feels “powerless” against the rumors. A separate source told Us Weekly, “It has put pressure on her relationship with Harry. He’s very frustrated with how little can be done. Keeping her away from the negativity and harm has been hard for him. It’s been his purpose in their relationship to keep her away from the negativity.”
After Meghan’s personal assistant Melissa Toubati quit after just six months of working under the newly minted Duchess, it was reported to be because of Meghan’s “demanding attitude.” Ouch.
A source exclusively told Life & Style, “Going forward, Meghan might need someone cut from a slightly different cloth to traditional courtiers, who is not a career civil servant or royal insider.” It seems like a change of pace in the royal staff could be just what she needs.
Coming from the limelight of Hollywood, Meghan probably has a pretty thick skin. Hopefully, all these rumors get cleared up soon.
