It’s a gender reveal! Pregnant comedian Amy Schumer revealed she and her husband, Chris Fischer, are having a boy on Instagram on May 5.

In typical Amy fashion, the 37-year-old went on an impassioned rant in her caption in her usual social justice style before dropping this small little tidbit of info at the end: “Also we are having a boy.” The photo accompanying the news showed herself and her 39-year-old hubby sitting next to one another in a ready-to-go playroom decked out with toys and the NYC skyline on the wall.

This lovely news comes just two days after the comedian took to Instagram to share her frustration with still being pregnant at this point in the gestation period.

“Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I’ve been pregnant for a long time?” she captioned a photo of herself in a doctor’s office with her totally huge baby bump on display. She was also sporting an “I Hate Mondays” t-shirt. “It must be getting annoying to you all that I’m still pregnant. Well imagine how I feel mother f–kers!!!!!! #soblessed #hatemondaysloveweekendstho.”

Not only has Amy been ~in her pregnancy~ for quite a while, but it’s also been a complicated one at that. Early on, she was diagnosed with hyperemesis, a pregnancy complication that causes severe and persistent nausea. Essentially, it’s like morning sickness times 20.

The condition has been so rough for her that the actress had to postpone and then later cancel tour dates for her stand-up shows. She has been incredibly vocal about the struggle throughout her pregnancy, both on social media and in her latest stand-up special on Netflix called Growing.

We hope things have eased up for the funny mama and that she finally gives birth soon! We can’t wait to meet your little boy. Congrats, you two.
