Dropping Hints? All the Clues Leading Up to Scott Disick and Sofia Richie’s Split

While Scott Disick and Sofia Richie’s split did come as a surprise to many, if you look closely, the A-list pair has been dropping hints for a long time.

Rumblings of trouble in paradise date all the way back to early March when the up-and-coming actress, 21, and longtime Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 37, began isolating together amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Quarantine is not making them closer,” a previous source revealed to Life & Style. “They’re definitely not used to spending this much time together.”

Prior to the pandemic, Scott and Sofia often had a house full of personal trainers, friends, family and “a lot of chaos,” the insider explained. “One-on-one time” was not “normal” for them.

On top of the couple’s growing tensions, Scott was struggling with personal issues. “His demons were getting the better of him,” a separate source explained. “He’s still trying to come to terms with his parents’ deaths.”

The Talentless founder lost his mother, Bonnie Disick, in 2013 and his father, Jeffrey Disick, died three months later. As supportive as Sofia tried to be, she and Scott “were bickering like crazy,” the insider added. “At the end of the day, he can only help himself.”

After nearly three months in quarantine, the Flip It Like Disick producer checked himself into a Colorado rehab facility. However, Scott returned to Los Angeles less than a week later — further fueling his troubles with Sofia.

At the time, the model vowed to “help him as much as she can,” insisted a third source. “Sofia just wants Scott to be healthy, whether she’s dating him or not.”

By May 21, Life & Style confirmed Scott and Sofia were officially “taking some time apart” from their relationship. As of May 27, they were broken up. Believe it or not, quite a bit transpired in those six days that alluded to the worst.
