Say What? Selena Gomez Flaunts a Huge Silver Ring on Her Engagement Finger and We’re Shook

It’s been a while since the Disney alum has publicly dated anyone, so unless she’s being super private with her relationships it’s unlikely that she’s engaged to someone. The last time she was publicly was dating someone was The Weeknd in 2017. Shortly after he and Selena split, he got back together with Bella Hadid, but they recently called it quits once again.

However, Selena did hint at a wedding with Bill Murray — jokingly of course. “My first time in Cannes! I’m so honored to have been a part of this movie with Jim Jarmusch and the whole cast,” she captioned a photo posted on Instagram in May. “By the way, Bill Murray and I are getting married.”

Purchasing the ring could be Selena’s way of putting herself first, sort of like a promise ring. The “Heart Wants What It Wants” singer is all about self-love, anyway. She even has a tattoo to back it up. It’s located on her back and translates to “Love yourself first.”

Selena could also be taking notes from Ariana Grande. The “God is a Woman” crooner wrote “7 Rings” after she went on a shopping spree with her six of her best friends and bought each of them Tiffany engagement rings, because who needs boys? Sel sure loves her besties, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see her pull this move.

Whatever her reason is, we must admit the choice of ring is quite nice. But lets, be real. Anything the pop star wears, she can rock!
