Fab at any age! Real Housewives of Orange County stars Terry and Heather Dubrow look amazing, and exclusively shared their tips with Life & Style for staying slim from their new book The Dubrow Diet. It’s quickly become one of the top-searched diets, and according to the doctor himself, its “really a gamechanger.” Watch the video above to learn the duo’s best diet secrets to losing weight fast.
“At this stage of life, I can literally gain 14 pounds in 10 days,” the Botched surgeon, 60, confessed. “You know how I know that? Because I just did over the holidays. And so, I said, ‘I am going right back on to the Dubrow diet,’ and in six days I lost seven of [the pounds I had gained]. And that’s purely based on the rapid weight loss of this diet.” Um, wow!
It turns out, the couple created the diet based on their own life experiences, including the Housewives husband’s problem with his weight fluctuating his “whole life.” The “lifestyle” diet is “based on intermittent fasting. It’s like a very usable form of intermittent fasting to lose weight very quickly, very painlessly. It has sustainability.”
The gorgeous pair’s weight loss strategy often gets compared to the popular Keto Diet, but they’re here to say that there are key differences between the two. “Even though scientifically they work in kind of a similar way, the Dubrow Diet is … a lifestyle plan, it’s something that’s attainable and sustainable,” the actress, 50, expressed.
“When you think of the word ‘fasting’ it sounds like skinny tired people,” the brunette beauty admitted. “That’s why we call it interval eating because we want you to eat.” The book gives all the details to long-term success using the reality family’s methods. “We teach you how to eat, when to eat, what to eat and how to cheat.”
