It Was the ‘Best Decision’ For Demi Lovato to Skip Boyfriend Henri Levy’s Fashion Week Show
Fans of Demi Lovato feared that the songstress may have split from new beau Henri Levy after she didn’t show up to his fashion show on January 18, but a source now tells Life & Style exclusively why the 26-year-old took a rain check.
The couple actually celebrated New Year’s together in Colorado, but spent time apart in the following weeks. “After Aspen, Henri headed to Paris to prepare for his Enfants Riches Déprimés Automne Hiver 19/20 Runway Show for Paris Men’s Fashion Week, and Demi went to Florida for a friend’s wedding.”
But just because she wasn’t there to support her man, doesn’t mean he’s not her man anymore. “It was the best decision for Demi to skip the show because he was working pretty much the entire time,” said an insider. “He was working seriously around the clock and had to style every celebrity that attended and sat front row at the show. This included G-Eazy, Courtney Love, Pusha T and Madison Beer among others.”
Perhaps after spending a few months in rehab, it was a good idea for Demi not to be left alone in France for weeks. Henri was telling people that he missed his ladylove, but he knows that her heart was with him. “She’s a fan of the brand and supports him and his work even when they’re not together,” said the source.
And for anyone who was concerned when Henri was spotted getting cozy with Courtney, you can relax. “Henri has a lot of A-list friends like Kanye West and Future. Courtney Love is a longtime friend of Henri’s,” said the pal. “They’re not dating, there’s nothing romantic there, but they are really close, and she is supportive of him and Demi. Demi is aware of their friendship.”
Though “Henri’s still in Paris at the moment” working on the big opening of his Enfants Riches Déprimés store, he does spend as much time with Demi as possible. “Demi and Henri travel together when they can,” said the friend. “They do fly privately together, whether it’s for work or fun, but they mainly spend time in Los Angeles. He likes to spoil her, and it’s cute when she dresses up and likes to look luxurious around him because of his fashion expertise.” We’re so glad they’re still going strong!
