From ‘Him & I’ to ‘Had Enough’: A Timeline of Halsey and G-Eazy’s Relationship

When it comes to on-again, off-again drama-filled Hollywood romance, Halsey and G-Eazy take the A-list cake. Unfortunately, no matter how hard we shipped the pair in the past, they ended up calling it quits … twice. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t relive the crazy beautiful timeline of their love, right? Right.

While they were together, the pair constantly shared photos, attended red carpet events and even collaborated on a song together. However, since going their separate ways in October 2018, the exes have seemingly thrown shade at each other.

Since their split, the former flames both moved on with other people. G-Eazy began seeing model Yasmin Wijnaldum at the start of 2019. Then he became romantically linked to Ashley Benson in May 2020.

Meanwhile, Halsey dated Evan Peters and Yungblud, whom she’s been off-and-on with. Regardless of Halsey and G-Eazy’s respective relationships, they still appear to have bad blood toward one another.

For starters, Halsey released “Without Me,” which is seemingly about their rollercoaster of a relationship. She sang: “I said I’d catch you if you fall/ And if they laugh, then f–k ’em all (all)/ And then I got you off your knees/ Put you right back on your feet/ Just so you could take advantage of me.”

G-Eazy also dropped a song that totally seems to be about his ex called “Had Enough.”

Some of the lyrics include: “Talking ’bout my crazy-ass ex/ Somehow I still failed her last test/ Few years the last time we had sex/ So why you call me trippin’, all mad pressed?/ All them lies that you was tellin’ on me/ Hopin’ I lose, you hope an L is on me/ She would tell anybody, she’d go and tell her homie/ She would go on TV, she’d go on Ellen on me/ Send them shots, just know I’m hard to kill.”

As if that wasn’t enough, G-Eazy also referenced Halsey’s song “Forever” in the track. In her song, Halsey sings, ‘Cause I could never hold a perfect thing and not demolish it.” G-Eazy’s lyric mirrored that : “You can’t have a good thing, you love to break s–t.”
