This “sister” sucks. YouTuber James Charles announced he decided to cancel his upcoming “Sisters” tour — just a day after his 20th birthday. The beauty guru took to his Instagram Stories in an almost 10-minute sequence of vids where he explained his decision to put his touring dream on hold.

After thanking fans and followers for the outpouring of birthday wishes, James started by making it clear that he knew fans wouldn’t be happy with the decision — and frankly, neither was he. “I know this sucks and people are gonna be upset and about it and, trust me, I am really not happy about this either,” he explained.

But he wanted to make it clear it was his decision to end the “Sisters” tour, not venues or producers as some may have speculated without his clarification, due to ticket price controversy and the Tati Westbrook feud.

“This is 100% my decision. None of the venues pulled out, none of the brands that were gonna be sponsoring it pulled out,” he revealed. “The ‘Sisters’ tour is not being canceled because I was canceled.”

His big reason for canceling came from his post-feud mental health, which is in need of some serious TLC to heal. “I am still not doing well,” he continued. “The main reason why I am deciding to pull the plug on tour is because the next few weeks and the next few months, honestly, I said that I wanted to take time for myself and to be with the people that love me.”

“Because of all this stuff I feel that I can’t deliver that best version of James right now,” the guru revealed. “But I’m working on that, I promise.”

In short, James revealed that he still plans to go on tour when he’s back to his normal self — and wants to do it even bigger and better than he’d already planned, including possible international stops. But for now, his fans will just have to settle for a refund and a promise for the future.

“I know a few of the venues have already started to call and email people who have bought tickets letting them know. You don’t have to call or email to get a refund,” James told fans. “All the refunds will be fully automatic and you will get them within the next business week.”
