Another day, another royal feud, y’all. Samantha Markle had some words on social media for actor George Clooney after he spoke out in support of her estranged sisterMeghan Markle. As usual, it seems as though the 54-year-old wasn’t about to pass up an opportunity to speak her mind.

“Hey Looney Clooney! Your lawyer wife should have taught you not to make statements without full facts,” Samantha posted about the actor and his wife, Amal Clooney, on February 13. “I doubt #GeorgeClooney would ghost his mother for no legitimate reason. Be quiet Georgie.” Yikes — we’d say the 57-year-old needs ice for that burn if it weren’t for the fact that his original comments were so on point.

In an interview with Who magazine published on February 12, the actor compared the duchess to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, because of both their unwavering determinations to stay true to themselves in their royal position.

“I do want to say, they’re just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she’s been pursued and vilified,” he told the outlet. “She’s a woman who is seven months pregnant and she has been pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that Diana was and its history repeating itself.”

“We’ve seen how that ends,” George continued. “I can’t tell you how frustrating that is, just seeing them broadcast a letter from a daughter to a father, she’s getting a raw deal there and I think it’s irresponsible and I’m surprised by that.”

The letter in question is one the duchess wrote to her father, Thomas Markle, in August 2018 which he made public on February 9. In the letter, Meg explains to him that she feels hurt by his choice to continually lie to the media about her — a choice she doesn’t understand.

Between her father’s supposed lies, overshares, and her sister’s upcoming tell-all book, the Duchess of Sussex has her hands full. We only hope her family can heal in private. That means no more tweets, Samantha.
