Taylor Swift and Her BF Joe Alwyn Looked Totally ‘Loved Up’ at CAA Pre-Oscars Party
She might have finally found the right Romeo for her “Love Story.” Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, have been pretty lowkey about their relationship since they started dating in 2017, but it seems like that’s been a good thing for the singer’s most recent romance. According to an eyewitness who saw the couple at the CAA pre-Oscars party with Absolut Elyx at the San Vicente Bungalow on Friday, February 22, the couple was “genuinely loved up” at the event.
“She looked happier than ever and acted relaxed in front of other guests at the CAA party,” the insider revealed. “[Taylor and Joe] only have eyes for each other.”
Unlike the accusations about some of her past relationships, this one seems like the real deal — at least, from an outside perspective. “There’s no pretentiousness about their relationship,” the source said.
“Taylor feels like she can be her true self with Joe — she’s learned from her mistakes and that flaunting boyfriends for the world to see is a recipe for disaster,” the insider explained. “Her new outlook is clearly paying off.”
Joe, 27, and Taylor, 29, seem to be feeling serious about each other, as the couple was recently spotted scoping out a mansion in London together while the singer is there filming the movie musical Cats. Plus, she supported him at the 2019 Golden Globes in a shocking and exciting appearance, then snuck her way into a BAFTAs afterparty to get cozy with her actor beau. Let’s all hope for an Oscars red carpet debut from this couple — it’s what we all (and they) deserve.
