‘Jersey Shore’ Star Vinny Guadagnino Puts Abs On Display After Shedding 50 Pounds On Keto Diet — Pics!
He’s all about that Keto life! As many of his followers know, Vinny Guadagnino calls himself the “Keto Guido,” because he dropped 50 pounds by sticking to the no carbs diet. Now, the Jersey Shore star, 31, is showing off his dramatic weight loss and abs on his health-centered Instagram account.
On Jan. 13, the reality star put his new body on display, and showed his fans what a difference 10 years can make. “Taking part in this #howharddidaginghityouchallenge. As you know from all the before and after pics on this profile, I’ve had some fat, unhealthy years in between,” he wrote. “Eating natural fat, protein, and veggies instead of processed sugar and carbs has brought me back to 21. #ketoguido.”
He continued, “P.S. — for those of you who are confused and think that I am saying I was fat in 2009, you are incorrect. I’m saying I looked good and young in 2009 and AFTERWARDS had some fat years (you can see those pics in other posts on this page)…and living this way of life has brought me back to feeling good, like I did when I was 21 in 2009.”
Yas, Vinny! We love that he is taking his healthy lifestyle so seriously, because he looks amazing. The MTV star even dished exclusively to Life & Style that he might be working on a project that involves food. “Something like, cookbook-ish,” he told us. But is his mom helping out? “Yes, she’s always involved,” he said. Hmm, hopefully there is some kind of Keto cookbook in the works?!
However, the New Jersey native doesn’t always eat clean. On Dec. 30, 2018, he posted a mirror selfie at the gym. “Monday and Tuesday I ate like a pig and after injecting sugar into my blood for two days, I honestly was ready to get back to eating meat and vegetables,” he revealed. “It’s always been tough for me to work as well in the midst of eating bad during the holidays, but this time I sucked it up and said, ‘F—k your negative thoughts and work the f—k out because Christmas is over.’ And after the rest of the week of sweating, intermittent fasting, and eating Keto…I feel good again.”
Vinny admitted that anyone can fall off the wagon, but it’s all about picking yourself back up and “kicking your a– into gear.”
You’re our body inspo, Vin! Keep up the hard work because it shows.
