From samba... to sitcom?
Kirstie Alley's formed quite a bond with her Dancing With the Stars: All Stars pro partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy — a bond so close that the actress tells Life & Style she wants him to star on her new TV show!
"He could play a long-lost nephew or someone who comes from the Ukraine," she tells Life & Style. "From Russia with no love."
But Maks, who admits he trains Kirstie as hard as he can week after week, has a different role in mind!
"I want us to be in a competition where she is my trainer and I am her student! I want to see her getting me to do stuff against my will," Maks says.
And Kirstie's ready to give him a taste of his own medicine.
"You will if you do my show," Kirstie says to Maks. "You will see how I roll. When I'm screaming 'line, line' at you. You will."
Just three days after their first DWTS: All Stars performance on Sept. 24, TV Land announced it ordered a presentation for a new comedy called Giant Baby, which will star Kirstie. She'll play a Broadway star who is shocked when her 26-year-old son — the one she gave up for adoption — shows up on her doorstep after his adoptive mother passes away.
Kirstie first partnered with Maks during the 12th season of DWTS, finishing in second place.
