Too cute! Princess Charlotte looked ~royally~ ready for her first day of school as she arrived with Kate Middleton, Prince William and her older brother, Prince George. This was the 4-year-old’s first day attending Thomas’s Battersea in south London and she probably had a lot of first day jitters. However, she was perfectly put together in her adorable uniform and had her family right by her side. Her proud parents were beaming as they arrived to drop them off. Keep scrolling to see photos!
George, 6, and Charlotte both wore the navy blue uniforms with red detailing that the school requires. Meanwhile, Kate, 37, looked gorgeous in a bright red and pink patterned dress and William, also 37, was dapper in slacks, a blazer and a button-down shirt.

The prestigious school costs a whopping $23,000 a year and is clearly fit for a royal.

Some Nerves
George is a pro at going back to school but we’re sure Charlotte definitely had some reservations. She stayed glued to her mom while walking up to the building.

New Name, Who Dis?
Considering her classmates definitely won’t be calling her “Princess,” the tiny tot will be known as Charlotte Cambridge in school. Cambridge comes from their dad William’s official royal title — Duke of Cambridge.

Ahead of the Curve
These are some smart kiddos. A source exclusively told Life & Style that they’ve already picked up some impressive skills. “They’re bilingual and can already speak fluent Spanish, thanks to their nanny Maria Barrallo,” the insider dished.

One More Coming Soon
Kate and William welcomed their third child — Prince Louis — on April 23, 2018, and he’s keeping up with his sibs. The source noted, “Even Louis is picking up certain words and tries to say ‘Hola.'”

Ruining the Curve?
“Charlotte and George are well ahead of a majority of their school friends in the language department,” the source admitted.

Start ‘Em Young
Their linguistic skills aren’t super surprising considering their dad puts a big emphasis on it. “William, who speaks five languages — English, French, Swahili, Welsh and Gaelic — asked Maria to introduce Spanish to the kids at an early age so that it would come naturally to them and it’s worked,” the source said.

Keeping It Real
While not every kid can grow up in a palace and learn Spanish from their nanny, William and Kate are doing their best to raise their children as normal as possible.

A Sweet Tribute
William’s late mother, Princess Diana, “made it her mission to give her kids everyday experiences,” an additional source told Life & Style, “and William and Kate are huge believers in carrying on that tradition.”

Not so Glamorous
Part of George and Charlotte’s “everyday experiences” include doing chores. “They’ve started putting their toys away after playtime,” the second source explained about their duties around the house.

Don’t Want to Be Spoiled
In theory, the royal kids could never lift a finger considering they have a full staff at their disposal, but that’s not what their parents have in mind for their future. “William and Kate don’t want them growing up thinking everything will be done for them,” the insider noted.

Growing Up Fast
The first day of school is a big milestone but there are still plenty of royal babies. Meghan Markle just gave birth to her son, Archie, with Prince Harry back in May.
“Charlotte treats Meghan and Harry’s son like a little doll and is always asking after him,” the insider added. Well, we’re sure she’ll miss playtime with her cousin while she’s at school but it’s so exciting to watch her grow up.
