Maren Morris Shows Off Her Growing Baby Bump By the Pool: ‘2nd Trimester’
When it comes to relaxing, Maren Morris has the right idea! The 29-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday, December 4, to show off her growing baby bump and curves in a gorgeous purple bikini. TBH, it’s a whole mood.
“Someone send a good virgin colada recipe. 🍹#2ndTrimester,” she captioned the pic. It’s hard to believe the singer is already somewhere between 13 to 28 weeks pregnant considering it was only less than two months ago when she announced she’s expecting her first child with her husband, Ryan Hurd. The country star unveiled the exciting news on social media when she shared a sweet snap of in which she cradled her belly alongside her hubby.
“The irony is just too rich that after a year of living in the ‘GIRL’ headspace, the universe would give us a baby boy to even things out. See you in 2020, little one,” she wrote on October 22. The following day, Maren revealed that her baby boy will be an Aries, just like her. Her little one is expected to arrive in March, just before her birthday. How exciting!
The “In the Middle” crooner still has a long way to go in her pregnancy. So for now, she seems to be taking some much deserved time to unwind. In early November, a source exclusively told Life & Style that the mom-to-be was planning a “huge babymoon” with Ryan, and that seems to be what she’s doing now.
“She’s due in the spring, so she’s planning to go relax somewhere,” the insider said at the time. “They were thinking the Bahamas, but they’re not too sure. She’s leaving all the logistics up to her husband. All she’s requested are lots of prenatal massages and two weeks off completely, no emails, no texts, no nothing.” While she didn’t end up going to the Bahamas, she did opt for somewhere nice and tropical: Hawaii.
It’s been a busy few weeks for Maren, who attended the Country Music Association Awards on November 13. Maren was the most nominated artist that night, and she ended up taking home an award for Album of the Year. In addition, it was the first time she got to publicly flaunt her gorgeous bump. What a great year it’s been for her!
