Meghan Markle Is Reportedly ‘Bothered’ By The Backlash She’s Been Receiving
It seems like the stress of being in the public eye is getting to Meghan Markle. The mom-to-be is reportedly overwhelmed with all the negative attention she’s received in the last few months.
According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, the public’s opinion is getting to her. “Meghan has so much on her plate, between being pregnant and dealing with the public backlash, and she’s finding the whole situation incredibly stressful,” said a royal insider.
A second insider revealed that she’s “definitely bothered by all the reports and speculation” and feels that “some things are just hard to stay away from.” We don’t blame her.
As of late, the 37-year-old has made headlines due to speculation of her not getting along with sister-in-law Kate Middleton. It doesn’t help that ever since she became part of the royal family when she married Prince Harry in May, her estranged family has stirred up lots of drama, adding to the stress. Meghan and her father, Thomas Markle, aren’t on speaking terms. Her dad has spoken to the press numerous times, often criticizing of the royal family.
Though she’s not a royal, Samantha Markle takes the throne for the amount of times she’s publicly spoken about her half-sister. She’s been known to refer to Meghan as a “royal ducha–.” Not cool! It’s no wonder Meghan is becoming affected by it all.
The Duchess of Sussex is due sometime in the Spring, around the time she and Harry are expected to move out of Kensington Palace into Frogmore Cottage. That already is a lot to take on for any person.
Recently, it was reported that the duke felt helpless over not being able to help out his wife. Hopefully, the royal couple find a way to distress and not allow anything from the outside affect them.
