Name: Taylor Hicks
Q: How are you doing, what's happening?
A: I'm great and actually on the road right now. I settled in Nashville and am between Nashville and LA because I've been offered some TV and film roles, which is pretty rockin'. I could be on the silver screen very soon.
Q: How was doing Grease on Broadway?
A: I had a blast and never thought I'd star in a Broadway show in NYC, then tour with it for 18 months and do 585 shows. I learned so much. Playing Teen Angel was the perfect springboard into TV and film.
Q: Are you married yet?
A: I'm single and having a good time being a touring musician (wink, wink). There is too much Steven Tyler in me.
Q: What are you most proud of doing since Idol?
A: Probably being associated with charities like Children's Cancer and Habitat for Humanity. Winning American Idol gives the opportunity to really help make a change to a lot of lives, and making a difference has given me the greatest satisfaction and joy.
Q: What is your most memorable Idol moment?
A: Winning, of course, but getting to perform with all my legendary heroes like Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Queen, Barry Manilow and Kenny Rogers. That was such an honor because I'd listened to them for so long, and within six months I'd met and played with every one of them -- it was wild.
