<p><span></span>If anything can be said about <em>American Idol</em> contestant <strong>Haley Reinhart,</strong> it's that she's a survivor. Despite being in the bottom three four times over the course of the competition, Haley, 20, managed to finish in third place. Last night, after a whopping 95 million votes were cast, America ended Haley's journey and sent Lauren Alaina, 16, and Scotty McCreery, 17, into next week's finale. Still, "I wasn't angry at all with the results," says Haley. "I took it in stride. Everything happens for a reason."</p>
Haley admits she learned so much while on the show and tells Life & Style that, like all of America, she's looking forward to seeing what unfolds during next week's final showdown when the two country crooners battle for this season's title. "We have a young audience out there, and Lauren and Scotty are both so cute, so darn cute," Haley tells Life & Style. "This is a country year, and I'm excited to see what happens. I can definitely see young America being captivated by these two."
Watch the youngest contestants ever to battle it out in an Idol finale perform Tuesday at 8 p.m. on Fox.
