Talk about terrifying!
When Cornelius Jones went to pick up his one-year-old daughter from daycare 15 minutes before they were supposed to close on Tuesday, he found the door to the facility locked and the lights off — and heard his daughter crying inside!

Turns out, staff at All Things Are Possible For Kids daycare in Chicago mistook Journee Jones for a doll and closed for the night without her.
"I was terrified and I was also hurt because I knew she was in there in the dark and I couldn't get to her," Jones told reporters of the moment he found his unattended child. Police were forced to break into the building to rescue Journee.

"I didn't know what to feel like, my heart dropped," Jones reveals. "I was just glad she was okay."
Workers claim they were in the back of the building, so Journee wasn't technically alone, but the Jones family say there's no excuse for leaving her. And clearly, a majority of people agree with them. The daycare's Facebook page is currently littered with negative comments.

Jones has since removed his daughter from daycare and has no plans at the moment to re-enroll her. Watch footage of police breaking down the door below:
