While filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 9, Dolores Catania couldn’t help but feel a little bit lonely since her BFF Siggy Flicker decided not to return to the reality TV series for another exciting season.

“I miss Siggy,” Dolores exclusively shared to Life & Style Weekly at her Ladies Night Out event presented by Formaggio Cheese. “There was like a little void for me because I feed off her and we laugh so hard.”

After spending two seasons on the show, Siggy sadly decided to say goodbye to the hit Bravo series after she got into a few heated arguments with her fellow co-stars. Fans witnessed her most notable fight firsthand, when she called Margaret Josephs “anti-Semitic” for a comment that she made about Adolf Hitler on the show.

In a statement that she previously wrote to The Daily Dish, Siggy revealed why she decided to leave the housewives behind. “I want to focus on my beautiful family, my growing business and some exciting new projects,” she said. “I am grateful to the network for allowing me to be part of this successful franchise and wish only the best for Teresa [Giudice], Melissa [Gorga], Dolores, Danielle [Staub], and Margaret.”

The Write Your Own Fairy Tale author also told Us Weekly in a previous interview that being on the Real Housewives became too much for her to handle. “Looking back at the show I truly wanted to make a difference for Jersey and in Jersey and I realized that I had too many obstacles working against me and I couldn’t do it,” she shared.

“[The show’s] not for everyone. It really isn’t,” Dolores explained to Life & Style about Siggy’s abrupt exit, but added that they still have crazy times together. “The other day I went to her house and she took her shirt off, she flashed me, and she was swearing.”

Although the show won’t be the same without the outspoken Siggy Flicker, Dolores still said, “she is my Siggy,” and they’ll always be friends!
