Mother like daughter! Beyoncé posted a side by side pic of herself and her daughter Blue Ivy Carter at age 7 and they’re basically the same person.
On January 24, the superstar shared the photo on Instagram and we can’t get over how strong Beyoncé’s genes truly are and just how big Blue is. The side by side comparison includes 7-year-old Queen B and Blue with both of their curly tresses roaming free. “Someone made this comparison of me at age 7 and Blue at age 7. My baby is growing up,” wrote the mother-of-three. How sweet!
It’s not often Beyoncé, 37, is vocal on Instagram. Instead, the “Drunk in Love” singer shares photos of herself in outfits that go with her page’s aesthetic, often without captions. However, she tends to make an exception for her kids. The triple threat also shared photos Blue Ivy took of her in a super cute multi-colored outfit. She posted multiple pics and in one of them, Blue is lying down rockin’ a turquoise floral print set. We’re here for the look.
It’s safe to say this duo are the best of friends. Beyoncé is always hanging out with Blue and the two seem to have a close bond. She brought Blue into the world in January 2012, then gave birth to twins Sir and Rumi in June 2017.
Everything Beyoncé does, she does big. When announcing she was pregnant both times, the performer basically shook the world. During her performance of “Love On Top” at the 2011 VMAs, she unbuttoned her blazer to reveal her baby bump. This basically became an iconic moment in all of pop culture. Fast forward six years, and Beyoncé broke the internet when she casually posted a beautiful photo of herself cradling her tummy to announce she was expecting twins.
Since then, the pop star hasn’t shared many photos of the twins, but that’s expected from her considering she did the same thing with Blue until she reached a certain age. We can’t wait to see the future photo shoots she’ll have with the rest of her kids!
