Alex Rodriguez Reveals What Kylie Jenner Was Like at the Met Gala: She ‘Was Talking About How Rich She Is’
Never a dull moment! Alex Rodriguez spilled the deets about what the Met Gala was like for him, which apparently included a very interesting convo with Kylie Jenner where she gushed about her wealth.
“We had a great table,” the 43-year-old began explaining to Sports Illustrated in an interview published on Tuesday, June 25. “We had Kylie and Kendall [Jenner].
The former baseball player then added that the youngest Jenner sister was slightly boasting about herself. “Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is,” he said. A little bragging never hurt anybody. After all, she has worked hard for all her success.
Two months prior to the Met Gala, which took place in May, Kylie was named the youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes. A the age of 21, she surpassed Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who reached the same milestone when he was 23.
“I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future,” Kylie told the outlet at the time. “But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.” While Kylie was born into a wealthy family, she worked hard for her success, especially considering the fact that her net worth is more than her famous siblings.
When Kylie founded Kylie Cosmetics in 2015, everything changed for her. Now, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star expanded her brand and created a skincare line — KylieSkin. “Skincare and makeup go hand in hand and Kylie Skin was something I dreamt up soon after Kylie Cosmetics,” she wrote in her skincare’s website. “I’ve been working on this for what feels like a lifetime so I can’t believe it’s finally here! Building my makeup line from the ground up has taught me a lot and I’m so blessed with that knowledge to apply to my brand new company!”
If this is Kylie at 21, we can only imagine where she’ll be in a few more years!
