One thing we love about Pink and her husband Carey Hart’s parenting style is that they always give their kids the freedom to express themselves. The singer and the former motocross competitor’s daughter, Willow Sage Hart, debuted a unique new punk ‘do on Sunday, September 9, and she looks great.

“Loving my punk rock daughter,” Carey, 44, captioned a photo of his mini-me rockin’ a haircut, which features the left side of her head buzzed. “Remember everyone, fly your own flag. There is no box to be put in. It’s better to be your own self. Own it, and love it. And if anyone has a problem with it, tell them (politely) to move on.” Can we say, #ParentGoals?!

To conclude the post, the dad of two added some kind words dedicated to his 8-year-old. “Can’t wait to see the woman you grow up to be. I have a feeling you are gonna be strong, fierce, companionate, and caring. I’m so proud of you, Willow.” Aw, so sweet!

Fans filled the comments section with positivity. “I wish I was brave enough to do this,” wrote one person. “Love it! My daughter wanted to do the same thing around age 10 and we totally let her 🙌 You look awesome, Willow!!!” a second person commented.

I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven year old get her hair colored. So we thought we’d share what we did yesterday . #bluehairdontcare #getyourownkids #parentpoliceareactuallyjustlonelysadpeople #illdyeyourhairtoolosers #ohlookmanocomments

This wasn’t the first time we’ve seen Willow experimenting with her look. When Pink, 40, heard people were mom-shaming Jessica Simpson for letting her daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson, dye her hair, the “Just Give Me a Reason” singer decided to do the same to shut the haters up. “I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven-year-old get her hair colored. So, we thought we’d share what we did yesterday #bluehairdontcare #getyourownkids #parentpoliceareactuallyjustlonelysadpeople #illdyeyourhairtoolosers #ohlookmanocomments,” she captioned of an Instagram pic of Willow posted on August 1.

You go, girl!
