Pete Davidson’s Relationship With Kaia Gerber Is Heating Up Despite Trying to Keep a ‘Low Profile’
While Pete Davidson and Kaia Gerber have tried to keep their blossoming romance out of the spotlight, the pair was recently spotted holding hands during a daytime stroll in NYC. Even with the blatant PDA, the Saturday Night Live star, 25, and 18-year-old model aren’t ready to be Hollywood’s latest “It” couple.
“Pete and Kaia are dating and they’ve been trying to keep their relationship somewhat low profile,” a source revealed to Us Weekly on November 14. Considering Pete has had three — yes, three — highly publicized relationships since May 2018, his desire to keep things quiet with Kaia is understandable.
Ahead of courting Cindy Crawford’s daughter, Pete was romantically linked to actress Margaret Qualley. However, after just two months, they went their separate ways. “They remain friends,” a separate source told Us Weekly at the time.
As it happens, Kaia and Margaret, 25, run in the same circle. Both brunette beauties are close with 13 Reasons Why star Tommy Dorfman. On November 3, Kaia posted a sultry bikini photo taken by Tommy.
“Morning, sweetie,” the actor, 27, commented. Rewind to October 5, and Tommy posted a photo of himself and Pete taken by Margaret! Small world, huh?
Of course, to date, Pete’s most notable relationship was with pop star Ariana Grande. Though the pair ended their engagement in October 2018, the “Imagine” singer, 26, has since positively reflected on their whirlwind love story.
“I met Pete, and it was an amazing distraction, Ariana told Vogue in an interview published on Tuesday, July 9. “It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic, and I loved him, and I didn’t know him.”
After Ariana and Pete split, he briefly dated actress Kate Beckinsale. Once again, though, things fizzled out fast. Within four months, they were done.
Here’s hoping Pete and Kaia don’t meet the same fate. In the meantime, we’ll be over here waiting for duo to go Instagram official.
