Bachelor Nation Star Clay Harbor Confirms Peter Weber Is Dating Kelley Flanagan: ‘It Makes More Sense’
Spill the tea! Clay Harbor confirmed Bachelor star Peter Weber is dating his former contestant Kelley Flanagan. Romance rumors first started when the pilot was photographed playfully carrying the lawyer around her hometown of Chicago, and they then fueled speculation by appearing together on TikTok. Clay set the story straight during a chat with fellow Bachelor in Paradise alum Chris Randone on Instagram Live on April 1.
The former football player, 32, gave a resounding “yes” when Chris, 32, asked if Kelley, 27, is dating Peter, 28. “Obviously, there’s been a lot of news coming out about Pete and Kelley. I like Pete, man. I like Kelley,” Clay explained.
The brunette beauty finished in the top five contestants on season 24. The leading man got engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss during the finale, but then broke things off because he still had feelings for runner-up Madison Prewett. He and Madi reconnected after filming and said they were taking things “one day at a time” during After the Final Rose on March 10, but they went their separate ways for good three days later.
It seems like the ups and downs from the show are in the past, and Clay thinks Peter has snagged himself an amazing person. “I know Kelley has been catching some heat, but man, Kelley is a cool ass chick. She’s really cool. She’s got her stuff together,” the former contestant from Becca Kufrin’s season added. “And, it’s tough because she’s in the situation where she was dating Pete at the same time her friends were. You know?”
However, Clay admitted that Peter’s relationship with Kelley “makes more sense,” and “he can have conversations with her.”
Even Kelley exclusively confessed to Life & Style that the “whole process” of the reality dating show “got to [Peter] a little bit” during an interview in March 2020. “I think it’s time for him to just reflect on himself and figure out his own stuff,” she said. “What he wants, [who] Peter Weber really is and his wants and needs and stuff like that.”
Through all the ups and downs, it looks like Peter may have found what he was looking for in Kelley. Good luck, you two!
