With Long Blonde Hair Wearing Baby True Thompson has only been gracing the planet for 19 months, yet everyone knows about mama Khloé Kardashian‘s epic necklace with her daughter’s name encrusted in diamonds — one serious tribute to her first born. Life & Style spoke exclusively with celebrity favorite George Khalife, a.k.a. George the Jeweler, about the story behind creating the incredible piece for the KUWTK star.

“So that one I actually gifted to her as a surprise for when she had the baby and the name first came out,” the craftsman explained. “I was talking it over with my publicist and we just decided, ‘You know what? This is a good opportunity, let’s just do it.’ So I made it and she loved it!”

We totally do not blame her! The gorgeous nameplate is a staple for any proud mama — and it’s clear she loves it because she wears it so often.

“I’ve seen her wear it a bunch of times. There was another piece — I’ve made her a rosary that she’s worn a bunch too. She wears the Virgin Mary necklace all the time. Kelley Baker got her something,” he revealed of the eyebrow artist and friend who works with the Kar-Jenners. “I think Kelley was the one who was like, ‘Oh, I want to get her the Virgin Mary pendant,’ so she got her that and she wears that all the time. We’re sending one to Kourtney for the holidays.”

Pretty sure big sis Kourtney Kardashian, who loves those spiritual vibes, would adore one of the jewelers stunning pieces, especially one that her sister already rocks so well.

Ultimately, the artist is quite proud of the piece (as he should be!) and the meaningful role it will play in both mom and daughter’s lives going forward. “In a past interview that I did, that’s when I came up with the idea — I was just talking and it’s like a wearable memory, and I think that that really speaks,” he gushed of his present to Khloé. “It’s like your child’s name. It’s something that you can pass down, it’s something that she (True) can wear. So, it’s more than just a name.”
