Have you ever wondered if Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship is as wonderful off camera as it is on The Voice? If so, we’ve got you covered! Royce Lovett, a former member of Gwen’s team this season, spoke exclusively with Life & Style to dish on the pair’s romance.

“You know how some people, they’re in love, but there’s things about them that they don’t like?” You can tell that these guys genuinely are each other’s favorite person,” Royce gushed. “I think that’s really cool … you know what I mean? Just because normally — well, I’ve never worked with my wife before — but people say when you have the same job and you’re working together as spouses that sometimes it can be a little rough, but there was never a rough moment or a look you shouldn’t have said that.”

“It was all energy, their energy just exploding to something else,” he continued. The best part? Royce insisted that what audiences see on TV is 100 percent the real deal! “Unless they sit at home and they’re thinking about this amongst themselves, no, [it’s not scripted.] Everything feels like these guys have been friends forever. Are y’all married or are y’all like best friends since preschool?”

Speaking of marriage, Royce added that he hopes the A-list duo plans on getting engaged in the near future. “I don’t know what Blake’s waiting for!” he exclaimed. (Ahem, our thoughts exactly!) “The way they go back and forth and the way they talk and the way they just look at each other sometimes you’ll be like … they actually really like each other.”
