#TeamDemi! Former Bachelorette star Hannah Brown weighed in on Demi Burnett and Bachelor in Paradise alum Tanner Tolbert‘s Twitter feud with a very decisive opinion after he compared the sassy reality star to Jed Wyatt. The Alabama beauty knows both of the contestants in question very well and didn’t think their situations were at all comparable. Warning: Some season 6 Paradise spoilers are below!

“One is my best friend, one is my ex-fiancé … I can tell you first hand, not the same,” the former leading lady quipped on Twitter on August 14. Hannah and Jed got engaged during the finale of season 15 but broke up shortly after when it was revealed that he lied about the extent of his relationship with his ex Haley Stevens. “Jed has muddied the waters of our future together and it’s not what I thought said yes to,” the starlet explained on After the Final Rose about their relationship fizzling out. Living that experience firsthand does give Hannah a leg up on assessing Tanner’s claims that Demi and Jed did the same thing.

The drama started on August 13 when Tanner compared Demi going on Paradise while casually dating a woman — who has been identified as Kristian Haggerty — back home to what Jed did. He deleted his first few tweets but then doubled-down on the shade. “Before filming even began I heard that Demi planned to leave the show engaged to this girl,” he tweeted. “I support Demi fully, but she could have proposed off the show. I am tired of everyone talking beforehand and pre-planning these relationships … whether it’s Demi, Blake [Horstmann], anyone …”

He added [spoilers!], “Demi — Calls out a guy for going on a dating show while having a girlfriend back home on night [one] of Hannah’s season. Also Demi — goes on a dating show with a girlfriend back home and preplans to [get] engaged to her at the end of Paradise.”

Obviously, this didn’t sit well with Demi. “Oh f–k off, not the same at all. Maybe I can teach you a thing or two about going down on your wife [Tanner Tolbert],” the starlet fired back. This was a major burn because the stud admitted on Marriage Bootcamp that he does not perform oral sex on his wife, whom he met on Paradise, Jade Roper. “I’m always looking for ways to improve,” he continued while adding, “It’s not the same thing? Then how did I hear about your ‘plan’ before filming even started?”

The reality babe snapped back at Tanner, “There was NO PLAN. You are speaking on something you HEARD about as if it is a fact. I was 100 [percent] honest and upfront the entire time. You are a grown-ass man tweeting about rumors,” she wrote. During week 2 of Paradise, Demi has an open conversation with her current love interest, Derek Peth, about Kristian, her sexuality and all the feelings she was experiencing. According to Reality Steve, Kristian will be coming on the show before the third rose ceremony and will get engaged to the blonde beauty during the finale.

In case you’re wondering, Derek doesn’t seem to hold any saltiness toward Demi about the situation. “Let’s give it up to Demi Burnett for being brave, vulnerable and honest,” he tweeted on August 14.

Wow, and we thought Blake was the only one bringing the drama this season …
