John Mayer’s Anaconda Apparently Wants Some of Nicki Minaj’s Buns, Hun
Forget Tinder, Twitter might be the best way to hit on girls! Pop music's most eligible bachelor John Mayer is single and definitely ready to mingle and he's got his eyes set on the self-proclaimed queen of rap — Nicki Minaj! John posted what seemed like a rhetorical tweet wondering if he stood a chance with the "Rake It Up" rapper and she actually tweeted back in a super flirty exchange.
"I spend an inordinate amount of time per day wondering if Nicki Minaj would like me or not," the 39-year-old tweeted, and even though he didn't directly tag her, she still saw it and responded a few hours later. "Would my body be your wonderland? Asking for a friend," the 34-year-old wrote.
John seemed thoroughly flustered and shocked that Nicki responded and he wrote back, "Please hold, losing my sh-t. This isn't my reply yet."
Nicki's response seemed to confirm that he did have a chance with her, but many fans did not think that Nicki was in John's league. "You can do better," one fan wrote and another tweeted, "[Please] don't do this."
Other fans warned Nicki about upsetting his famous exes. "Watch out with Taylor Swift. She may write a song about you like she did with Katy [Perry] when she was dating John Mayer," one fan wrote.
But many of them urged Nicki not to play into John's advances because of the comments that he made in a 2010 interview with Playboy where he made a racist remark when discussing whether he would date a woman of color. "I don't think I open myself to it. My d–k is sort of like a white supremacist. I’ve got a Benetton heart and a f–kin’ David Duke c–k. I'm going to start dating separately from my d–k," he told the mag.
