And just like that … the Twilight fever is back! On Tuesday, February 12, celebrity hairstylist CJ Romero took to Instagram to share a picture of Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner celebrating the actor’s 27th birthday. “Damn K looks sexy. T is a pretty little liar. And I look like I’m ready for bed. #hbd @taylorlautner and mom in the back @lilykershaw,” CJ captioned the snapshot. 

We need a second to process the rush of nostalgia we’re feeling right now — OK, all set.  For starters, we’re happy that Robert Pattinson isn’t in the picture. Why, you ask? Well, because Bella Swan was destined to end up with Jacob Black. Not the uber creepy, uber pale and uber possessive Edward Cullen. Homeboy was just too much. We get it, man, you’re a tortured, immortal soul. Go eat some garlic or something. 

We said what we said, y’all. We’re not taking it back. As it turns out, the rest of the internet (read: diehard Twilight stans) happens to agree with us! “Bella and Jacob forever,” one user commented. “Yes! Thank you, CJ! Twilight fan forever! Bella and Jacob forever,” added another.

As much as we’ll always love Taylor, we haven’t seem much of him these days. Sigh. K. Stew, 28, on the other hand, has pretty much remained in the spotlight. Thank goodness! In fact, she has a ton of movies dropping in 2019 including Underwater, Against All Enemies, Charlie’s Angels and Happiest Season.

While we doubt she’ll ever amass the level of fame that came from the Twilight movies, we’re happy to see that she didn’t fall victim to the whole type-casting thing. Can you imagine playing a role like Bella Swan for the entirety of your career? Woof.
