Melania Trump Returns to D.C. in the Wake of Donald Trump’s Stormy Daniels Cheating Scandal (REPORT)
It looks like she might be ready to face him. Just one week after In Touch published the 5,000-word transcript with porn star Stormy Daniels — in which she detailed her affair with current President of the United States Donald Trump in 2006 — his wife Melania Trump is ready to reunite with her unfaithful husband. Sources revealed that after spending a handful of nights staying at a hotel in Washington D.C., Melania is ready to come back home to the White House.
Melania has kept a low profile ever since the news broke about her husband’s affair — which took place shortly after she gave birth to the couple’s son, 11-year-old Barron Trump. “It’s been upsetting and humiliating; her relationship with President Trump has become strained,” a White House insider revealed to the Daily Mail.
After Melania’s hotel stay, she opted to take a very brief trip to the family’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, FL on Thursday, Jan. 26 instead of joining her husband on a business trip to Davos, Switzerland — even though she had originally planned to go with him to the World Economic Forum in order to meet with the top CEOs in Europe. When asked why Melania backed out of the trip, her communications director Stephanie Grisham blamed it on “scheduling and logistical issues,” according to CNN.
But she may have regretted her decision because just 28 hours later on Friday, Jan. 27, the First Lady of the United States was on a flight from Florida back to D.C. so that she could be at the White House by the time Donald returned from his trip.
Though the state of Donald’s relationship with Melania is unknown, it seems like she has put distance between her and Donald since the scandal broke. “Melania seems to be actively limiting the time she spends with her husband,” an insider said, “and her behavior has raised eyebrows.”
