Perhaps the biggest cliffhanger in franchise history, Colton jumped the fence and literally fled from the resort in Algarve, Portugal, after Cassie left him.

People Were Freaking Out.

Chris shed a few tears as they tried to hunt down our missing leading man. After questioning if they should call the police, they found him walking along the road.

He’s Done.

“I’ve been through enough knowing that I’m enough. All of it makes me stronger, so I’m OK … Every time I put myself out there I get f—king rejected,” Colton tearily told Chris before saying that he wanted to quit.

So, What’s Next?

The next day, the two franchise studs had a long conversation about the events of the night before. “Every time something good happens to me it’s always followed by something bad,” the former football player confessed. He also added about Cassie’s dramatic exit, “I knew she was leaving … that was the peak of knowing how much she meant to me.”

He’s Going to Fight.

“I feel like life without Cassie wouldn’t be complete. I feel like Cassie completes me right now,” Colton acknowledged. He told Chris that he wants to fight for her.

He Needed to End Things With Tayshia.

The first stop on the breakup train was unfortunately Tayshia. “You’re incredible and I just owe you the respect and honestly like we’ve been with each other this entire time,” Colton began. “I knew that I was falling for you, but, in my heart, I know I can’t love two people. My heart is with somebody else. I love Cassie.”

Behind Closed Doors.

She asked if the two could speak without the cameras so they ducked in her hotel room. They still had their microphones on so viewers could hear them crying extremely hard.

Another One Bites the Dust.

Tayshia held it together pretty well but she was obviously devastated.

A Big Reunion.

Tayshia and Colton crossed paths for the first time during the finale live show. “To be honest with you, it hurt,” Tayshia reflected to the reality host about their split. “I don’t think anybody really wants to hear that. Especially when I feel like … I opened up about everything, I went outside my comfort zone in the hopes of having an amazing foundation of a relationship with Colton and I.”

All Cool Here.

She finally got to ask Colton what was missing from their relationship when they sat down together. He admitted that his heart was closed off because it already belonged to Cassie. That seemed to be the closure that the reality beauty needed. They ended on good terms and Tayshia says she loves the woman she’s become from the experience.

Remember Hannah G.?

As rough as his end with Tayshia was, we were not prepared for Hannah G. “You’ve been my rock through all of this,” Colton started to explain to the blonde beauty. “You’ve been someone who’s always picked me up. In the hardest times, you’ve helped me get through all of that.”

The Hard Truth.

“I realized that I can’t be in love with two people and where my feelings are in another relationship is at a stronger point than where I’m at with you … I realized that I love Cassie,” he said.

An Emotional End.

“I thought it was going to be you. You still remind me of home,” the leading man divulged through tears.

It Was Difficult For Both of Them.

Hannah was shocked and said she felt “blindsided.” She also added that she couldn’t imagine another relationship being as strong as theirs. After watching the season, fans kind of thought the same thing.

He Was Unsure.

He was obviously shaken over the decision but noted, “That’s how much I love Cassie, that I’m willing to walk away from something that great.”

Brutal Honesty.

When Hannah and Colton rendezvoused on the live stage he laid it all out and told her that his relationship with Cassie trumped all. The Alabama beauty aired out her heartbreak and said, “What Cassie did to you was exactly what you did to me but I had nothing.”

Let It Out, Girl.

She was still a bit emotional but assured fans that she wasn’t still in love with the athlete. She ended the conversation by saying she was happy for him.

A Full Analysis.

Chris was joined by Ben Higgins, Blake Horstmann, Jason Tartick and Garrett Yrigoyen. They all agreed that Colton needed to just go for it and follow his heart.

It’s Not Over Yet.

There’s more to come! “I’m willing to do anything and everything because that’s how much I love Cassie,” Colton said ready to fight for his girl. The episode ended with him knocking on her hotel door to ask for a second chance. Will she give him a second chance? We’ll find out soon during part two on March 12.
